If your guinea pigs tend to chew their coroplast, use nibble guards. They simply protect the correx from the little nibblers.
Correx chewing is a behaviour that tends to fade over time and is often limited to one area of the cage. It can indicate boredom, wanting to attract attention or being hungry. Placing a nibble guard to protect the area as soon as you notice signs of correx chewing. Rabbits tend to be more prone to chewing than guinea pigs.
Our transparent nibble guards are made of PVC and come in a set of 10 pieces. Each piece is 34.5 x 1.4 x 0.46 cm (13.6'' long), which is enough to cover one grid length.
Note that some nibble guards are automatically included when you buy any rabbit cages or any guinea pigs product that includes a loft and ramp.
